Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 green apple or pear, chopped (peeled optional)

  • 1 packed cup fresh spinach (or kale for a stronger green flavor)

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt

  • ¾–1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other milk of choice)

  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional, for brightness)

  • Handful of ice cubes (optional, for chill and texture)

  • Optional add-ins: 1 tbsp chia seeds, ½ tsp spirulina, or 1 scoop protein powder

Instructions

  1. Load blender:
    Add all ingredients starting with liquid (milk), then yogurt, fruits, and greens last.

  2. Blend until smooth:
    About 30–60 seconds on high speed. Scrape down sides if needed.

  3. Taste & adjust:
    Add more milk for thinner texture or a touch of honey/maple syrup if desired.

  4. Serve cold:
    Pour into 2 glasses and enjoy immediately.
